QUINOA'S CLIMATE REQUIREMENTS
Quinoa is a self-fertilized plant from high mountainous areas up to sea level, temperate, rainy, hot and dry, cold and dry, varieties that can adapt to each other.
Starting from the sea level, it is a plant that can grow up to 4000 meters deep. Each upgrade is available in the appropriate variants. While the kinoa differs by varieties, the average stays at -1, -6 after germination.
QUINOA SOIL REQUESTS
Quinoa can grow in almost any kind of soil, and likes the soil structure which is most favorite with its loveliness and high permeability, rich in organic matter values. It is a plant that can be easily cultivated in arid and salty soil. Lt; / RTI & gt; pH values of 4.5 to 9.0.
QUINOA SEED SELECTION
The most suitable varieties for our country's agricultural conditions are the shorter ones. As Quinoa is in other agricultural products, there are many kinds. More than 200 proprietary types are available. When choosing the Quinoa Seed, it is necessary to choose the short day varieties which are suitable for the conditions of our country, tried instead of the varieties grown in the tropical climate and suitable for the conditions of our country. It is easier to cultivate short day varieties, and the risk of having an affinity with flowering is minimal.
Throughout the world, hybridization has begun to develop non-saponin kinoes from all natural routes in recent years. The saponin in the so-called saponins (non-bitter) is present on the outer surface at very low altitudes, and is completely lost during harvesting and sifting. For this reason, there is no need for the sapons to be cleaned by the so-called saponins. Saponins have been planted for many years by farmers in our country and are very satisfied.
SEED TIME OF QUINOA
When the average soil temperature is 5-7 degrees, March, April for April and May for the higher regions, and the middle is suitable for kinoa planting. On the other hand, it is possible to plant when the soil temperature is 1 degree. Southern regions can be planted earlier depending on seasonal conditions. In a production to be made on dry conditions, seeding should be done as early as possible depending on the climatic conditions. Early planting allows the kinoa to better utilize the spring rains. One of the important elements in the cultivation of kinoa is that the date of planting is planned according to regions so that the flowering time will not exceed +35 C. Quinoa Seed, kinoa farming, kinoa farming.
FLOWING IN QUINOA
Approximately 60-90 days after the plant comes to maturity. Because of high temperature risk, it is suitable to grow short day varieties in our country. It gives harmony with flowering to a degree of +35. At temperatures exceeding +35 degrees in the flowering cycle, there may be a problem in graininess. Because of that, sowing time needs to be adjusted according to these conditions. On the other hand, it is a plant resistant to arid climatic conditions. It has a very high adaptability. Our country is very suitable for climatic conditions.
QUINOA'S FARM AND FERTILIZATION
Quinoa responds very well to nitrogen application. Nitrogen application increases both yield and protein content. It will be much more beneficial to use it in the form of sulfur sulphate. It is recommended to apply 5 - 15 kg nitrogen and 5 - 8 kg phosphor per decade.
FOREIGN OT CONTROL IN QUINOA
In Quinoa Agriculture, there are no registered drugs for weed control and alternative methods are applied. Quinoa can be planted frequently and weeds can be suppressed. When weed emerges intensely in the field, we can struggle with physical or mechanical methods. Among the mechanical methods, the so-called wire harrowing equipment gives the best results for the weed problem in the quinoa.
DISEASE AND DAMAGES IN QUINOA
As well as being a durable plant by its structure, kinoa has many diseases and harms, just as it is in all plants. Diseases and harmful effects found in spinach or pancakes have also been observed in Quinoa plantations. Most of these diseases are aphids, leaf worms and fungus diseases. Insecticides and fungicides should be used when such diseases and pests are encountered.
HARVEST IN QUINOA
The kinoa machine is a suitable product. The classic wheat harvester can easily be used for harvesting. Especially in wet conditions and during rainy seasons, all plants may not reach the same harvest level. It is expected that the remaining spikes will reach the harvest level. The plant size varies between 50 cm and 3 m. The average yield in normal maintenance conditions is 150 - 400 min / kg. Experiments made in watery conditions in our country yielded 650 kg / min. In the world, yields up to 950 kg / min have been observed.
